Kayla Cofer, FNP

Kayla Cofer, APRN, FNP–C, DCNP 

Kayla Cofer is a board–certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background and a special focus in dermatology. She began her nursing career in 2009 and has since cultivated over a decade of hands–on patient care experience. 

Kayla earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University in December 2019 and became certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in January 2020. She transitioned into dermatology in February 2020, where she began specialized training and has since developed extensive experience and knowledge in medical and cosmetic dermatologic care. 

She is passionate about delivering patient–centered, evidence–based treatment with a commitment to both skin health and patient education. She is an active member of the AAD and SDNP. 

Outside of work, Kayla is married and a proud mom to three children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family.
